Amanda Lewandowski

Amanda Lewandowski is a Software Engineer with a passion for integrating AI into custom software to solve complex problems. She holds a BS in Computer Science with minors in Software Engineering and Studio Art from South Dakota State University. At Bright Apps, Amanda is responsible for assessing client needs, establishing deliverables, and creating and maintaining custom software systems.

Amanda develops software using natural language processing (NLP) and AI to create different types of models and unique solutions for the challenges presented by clients. She is proficient in programming languages including Python, C#, and Go, and specializes in machine learning areas such as NLP, large language models (LLM), text embeddings, and text classification.

Recently, Amanda has incorporated NLP and text embeddings with AI to greatly improve efficiency and scalability, supporting systems that handle thousands of daily requests. She is proud of her work and the systems she has built to support large-scale requests. Amanda continues to innovate by creating software solutions that meet the unique needs of clients.

Amanda’s future aspirations include becoming the architect of solutions, creating comprehensive designs with all the connecting pieces to address complex client needs. She is skilled at breaking down client requests into actionable deliverables and iterating her approach to ensure successful outcomes.
